Kelvin grew up in the heartlands of Singapore and graduated from the Biological Sciences programme in NTU. Prior to his PhD research, Kelvin studied Coronavirus virus-host interactions under the guidance of Liu Ding Xiang. Kelvin’s PhD research in the Kline lab aims to understand the pathogenesis Enterococcus faecalis mono- and polymicrobial infections in wounds. Outside of the lab, Kelvin enjoys listening to music, going to the movies, and catching up with friends. He enjoys interacting with people over a cup of tea during his spare time.
