https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2661-1905I graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences and a minor in environmental sustainability. Previously trained in molecular immunology under the guidance of Assoc Prof Su I-Hsin. My Scientific interests lie in understanding host-pathogen interactions, particularly host immune evasion. Out of the lab, I enjoy watching movies, journaling and sketching.
Enterococcus faecium infections are known to be difficult to treat as they are intrinsically largely antibiotic-resistant. I am involved in characterizing Enterococcus faecium infections in diabetic wound infections. My project would entail searching for factors that enable colonization and infection on murine models that are diabetic.
