Cheryl NEO Jia Yi

Cheryl graduated with a degree in biomedical science in 2020. Previously, working on her diploma FYP project to determine the role of Abca8b in brain myelination of mice, her research interests piqued in the direction of disease models. Cheryl joined the Kline Lab with aims to gain experience in in vivo and in vitro infection models and is currently working with Haris on the pathogenic mechanisms involved in enterococcal infective endocarditis. Outside of the lab, Cheryl enjoys photography, trying to keep her houseplants alive and exploring and trying out new food
