Congrats to Wei Hong & Art
The Kline lab cleaned house at the SCELSE Microphotography Imaging Contest. Wei Hong won first place and Art won second place. Way to go guys!
Singapore Skin Conference
The lab attended a great meeting in March – The Singapore International Conference on Skin Research – where we got to present our latest on Enterococcal wound infections.

Congratulations to Irina and family on the arrival of Polina. We can’t wait to meet her!
Conferences, conferences 2017
In February, Kishore attended the GRC on Antimicrobial Peptides, and was picked to give a talk at the associated GRS.
In July, Sumitra went to the GRS & GRC for Microbial Cell Adhesion in the US. She gave at talk at the GRS and was voted one of the two best presenters! Way to go Sumi!!!
Ling Ning and Adeline attended the IUMS meeting in Singapore in July. Ling Ning’s abstract was chosen for a talk (woohoo!) and Adeline won a student travel award!
In September, Wei Hong will attend the CSHL meeting on Microbial Pathogenesis and Host Response in New York and Pei Yi will represent the Kline lab at The Great Wall meeting in Portugal!
And in October, Ling Ning will head to Atlanta for the ASM Conference on Cell-Cell Communication in Bacteria.
