Antonin was born and raised in Bordeaux, France. He graduated in Life Science from the University of Bordeaux and did an exchange program with the University of Laval (Canada) during his bachelor’s degree. After his bachelor’s degree, Antonin did a master’s program in Immunology, Microbiology and infectious diseases, during which he completed two internships in infectious microbiology. In 2022, he finished his PhD in a team of the Pasteur Institute of Paris, France. Antonin was interested by the role of oxygen in the interaction between human neutrophils and shigella spp. Outside of the lab, Antonin enjoys sports and astronautics.
